What Settings Say…
“The Mowbray Education Trust consists of 6 primary schools and in 2022/2023 academic year, Bekah supported the Mowbray Education Trust, offering quality CPD to all teachers in our Trust. The preparation for the session was thorough and Bekah provided pre-course reading and links to research to help further inform our teachers.
The first session was on sequencing – purposeful planning. The delivery and the knowledge was exemplary and the feedback from our teachers was excellent. Teachers reflected on the importance of choosing the correct resources for the task; the importance of small steps and the importance of considering key questions to deal with misconceptions, at the planning stage.
From their feedback, Bekah planned a follow up session to cover areas of need identified and early 2023 delivered a session on representation and structure and support with teaching times tables. Again, the feedback was excellent, and actions taken back to schools included the development of vocabulary and this is one key area as a Trust we have worked hard to improve as well as improving our questioning to support reasoning.”

“Bekah’s guidance was invaluable in supporting our teachers to take onboard a new maths scheme. Using her own practice from the classroom, she was able to give practical tips with credibility which empowered our team.“
Diverse Academies Trust
“In her work through the Maths Hub, Rebekah has always struck the perfect balance of academic rigour and lived classroom experience. Her groups are fastidiously planned and engagingly deliver, always creating a sense of community and mathematical curiosity.”
